Non Profit Robot Building Club with First Tech Challenge Team History: 2013 is our rookie year with FTC. Our team is made up of five members, four that have participated in FLL. We have spent over 150 hours building the robot. We have learned to use knee mills, metal lathes, finger bending machines, hand tools, metal and wood band saws, sanders, soldering, programming and CADD design. These skills have allowed us to custom build every part of our robot. · Achievements: o 2013 GA Qualifier Inspire Award Winning Alliance Award o 2013 KY Championship Rockwell Collins Innovate Award o 2013 GA Championship Inspire Award 2nd Place Rockwell Collins Innovate Award 2nd Place PTC Design Award 3rd Place
