Candice Nyando Photography is for connoisseurs of documentary & fine-art photography. Award-winning photography specializing in weddings & portraits I began my career as a photojournalist and have photographed everything from weddings to political upheavals from California to Kenya. My experiences as a photojournalist married by my artistic training, yield a strong eye for capturing unscripted moments and compelling portraiture. My images have appeared in hundreds of publications including U.S. News and World Report, The New York Times, Oprah.com, and USA Today. I decided to pursue a career as a portrait and wedding photographer because I have always been drawn to creative work that evokes emotion and to working in a narrative sequence. I love to celebrate every couple's unique narrative, and to lavish every couple with my keen attention to detail. I am based out of Lake Tahoe, California, but I am enthusiastic about travel, worldwide.
