Gregg Hall and his wife are scam artists. For the record, I am now pursuing legal action against them in small claims court in Akron. I had them do work on my Akron rental house and they requested I pay them on Zelle. I paid them on multiple occasions and everything was good. The last invoice I paid them they said they never received the funds. This was for $1,500. Zelle is immediate payment as you may know. My account at Huntington Bank showed the funds were debited. I started getting texts that they couldn't make their car payment and they couldn't pay their workers and all kinds of sob stories. I told them I would open up a dispute with Zelle and my bank. They kept with the sob stories of being broke. So I said I would deposit $750 into their account until it was resolved. I sent an email to them saying if Zelle and my bank showed the funds were deposited that they would send the $750 back. They agreed. Well the audit showed the $1,500 was in fact deposited into their account and they still haven't returned the $750. I tried being the nice guy and fell for their broke sob story and now they ignore my texts, just like the other stories on here. But his wife Jackie Hall used her work email address for the Zelle payment so I am also suing Newell Rubbermaid who she works for. I have the texts with the sob story, the email where they agreed to return the funds and all transactional receipts. Most corporations have an employee code of conduct so it will be interesting to see how this turns out when here company has to show up for the hearing. $750 isn't much to me, but it's the point and I want to warn others about dealing with these people.

He did not pull permits for the job and was forced by the city to dig up our new concrete basement floor to expose his drainage work which was incorrect. He also rebuilt a basement wall incorrectly by not placing the wall under a main support beam. The wall must now be rebuilt. He now claims to be Out of money to complete to job even though I has already paid him for his service. I have read other reviews through the BBB where he has done this to other people.
