This inspector came recommended by our realtor Forrest Caulder came out to the home. He did a great job with the cosmetic end of the inspection and completely failed on everything else. I was concerned about the floor when I went to purchase the home. Through his reassurance that the house was in great condition we went through with the sale. Within 3 months of closing a pipe backed up into the kitchen that created a bubble in the floor. The whole floor was rotted out all the way to the subfloor underneath 4 floors of material. Further a "leak" that he described under the toilet into the crawl space was again rotted out. Insurance refused to level the floor so we got an inspector to come and price us on leveling. Turns out the whole addition of the home to the left side is FLOATING. There were shims put in place to that can literally slide out because there is no weight. The fee we paid for their expert opinion for certified to us this was a good purchase and now because of them and their lack of due diligence I am stuck with my kids in a home that is literally sinking. Shame on you two.

July 27,2012 Dear Forrest I just wanted to thank you for the excellent job you did on inspecting my new home. You took time and made sure no stone was unturned. Ireally liked the way you used Checklist to make sure everything was inspected, and then followed up with a very professional report of your findings. I am a single mother who does not know much about home repair and knowing that I am going to move into my new home with a piece of mindmakes me feel good. Again thank you and I will be sure to recommend you should anyone I know is looking for a home inspector. Sincerely, Lisa Romano New Harbor View Resident
