Shor Kool did a classic bait & switch when replacing our a/c compressor. They put in a low quality compressor while charging us for a brand name. When that compressor failed in the 13th month they claimed that it is out of warranty and they wanted to charge another $2800 to "replace" it again. Over the years doing business with Shor Kool there seemed to be a pattern of parts needing "replacement". The fact is that they maintain 2 sets of invoices, one that the owner gives to the customer and one that his wife keeps in their records. When I asked Shor Kool for information to confirm my warranty, they would not provided me the record of the part that was specifically ordered for me from the manufacturer and the the serial number I was given was not accurate compared to my written customer receipt, which was originally discussed, written and handed to me in person.
