Sales, Rentals, and Repairs of Stringed Instruments Blackird Music carries Stringed Instruments of all flavors- mostly instruments restored or built in our repair shop, or here on consignment. We feature top notch repair staff (who are surprisingly affordable), concerts, open mic nights, and jams, and a cozy cafe/library. Located in between The Music Lab teaching studios and Old-Fashioned Records recording studio, we can meet the needs of all string players from your 4-year-old Suzuki student to your seasoned performer. What you won't find here is shelf after shelf of gadgets...we've done the work for you in selecting only the accessories and books that have the best performance and value-with our combined 30 years experience we've weeded out any inventory that is not an excellent value.
