Traumatic and horrifying. I was verbally assaulted by Shandell Warren, the owner of Ocean Spirit Massage, while on the massage table and for fifteen minutes while leaving after my aborted "massage". I feared for my emotional and physical safety in Shandell’s presence. I was threatened with the "option" of continuing the "massage" or leaving and being charged for cancelling. I hope no one else will ever fall victim to her attacks of misguided anger while in the vulnerable position of being a client on her massage table. Unfortunately, after reading other reviews (too late), I see that they already have. The environment of the office was chaotic and not at all relaxing. Shandell was beyond unprofessional, unethical, and displayed poor judgment and lack of self-control.

Just had the worst possible experience. Do not deal with Shandell at Ocean Sprit Massage. She is an awful human being. I tried to book an 80 minute pregnancy massage online but there was only a 50 minute option. I went ahead and booked it and then called her on the phone to to switch it to 80 minute because I have a gift certificate for 80 minutes. While on the phone with her, she told me that she couldn't hello me at the moment because she was not in front of a computer. She advised that I go back online to reschedule. When I tried that, everything was booked up. So, I sent her an email asking if it would be possible to switch from a 50 to 80 minute massage. That was on Wednesday. I did not hear from her until Saturday morning. And she asked if I booked a massage. I re-explained that yes I did, however I was only able to book 50 minutes and would like 80. I didn't hear back via email. So, I called and left a message and still didn't hear back. I went to her office at the designated time and once again asked if I could do a 50 instead of an 80 as my gift certificate is for an 80 minute massage. At that point she told me I could either get the 50 minute massage or leave. I once again tried explaining to her than I have an 80 minute gift certificate and this is why I have been trying to switch it from 50 minutes to 80. At that point she yelled at me and I'm embarrassed to report, I yelled back. I was so frustrated and upset at that point. I am 35 weeks pregnant and simply wante
