I bought two small websites selling for $36,000 each through Income Store: http://www.easy-diabetic-recipes.com/ and http://frugalfabulousfinds.com/. After losing money on several other investments, i.e. stock market, real estate, etc, this made sense to me. They have a minimum return ranging from 16-20% - but the potential to earn far in excess of those figures (due to their monetization and growth models, experience and the bios of their department heads) is what really sold me on the idea. They've over built over 150 "Authority" websites that they pattern after one of the most successful websites anywhere, Web Md, which generated $558 million in revenue in 2010. I looked at quite a few of their sites before deciding to move forward. Some make over $1 mil per year. Most investors and people who buy franchises or start businesses don't even know about this type of investment. Interesting to me is the fact that Income Store experts do all the work (for their share of the proceeds) and I can make more money as a passive investor than most franchise or small business owners who work 16 hours a day and deal problems on an ongoing basis. Websites from Income Store are will-able assets and can even be purchased through your IRA if you want to do it that way. Also, I have received my monthly checks as outlined in my contract, and the CEO of the company, Ken Courtright, even called me twice to see if everything was as promised. Income Store has developed a great concept for modern day investing. I think it's innovative and forward-thinking. Doing due-diligence now for one of the smaller investment vehicles they offer.
