I hired Mike Guynup to refinish my hardwood floors.....during the estimate process i mentioned i needed a door and a simple sub floor put down also, Mike looked at the job and agreed to do it prior to the hardwood floor job. well he took $300 for material and a week later he returned with the incorrect door and 4 sheets of plywood to put down over an existing concrete floor. The floor job turned into a complete mess. Mike used ramset to drive 40 nails into the concrete to adhere the 4 sheets of plywood. Mike had no sooner left and the nails started to come up. i called mike that night and he assured me he would return in the next few days to fix the floor and install the door........and that was the last time i heard from MIke and the last time i saw the money i gave him for supplies. i am upset he messed up my floor and took my money....glad he did not get a chance to work on my hardwood floors. i honestly don't think Mike knows what he is doing nor is he an honest man.
