Heather is one of those trainers that doesn't baby or patronize her clients. She tells you like it is and makes you a better ride because of it. She is great with children as well as adults and is not particular about what breed of horse or background her clients come from . I started riding with her as an adult who never thought I would ever need a trainer, let alone a H/J trainer because I mainly rode western. Well, my experience with her over the 5+ years I've known her has been very educational, fun, exciting and humbling. I'm a much more savvy rider, have a much more versatile horse and great friends from the family like atmosphere she creates. She is very passionate, trustworthy and works really hard to make sure both horse and rider are happy, safe and working together as a team. She also has a great variety of lesson horses for beginners as well as more advanced riders. If you are looking for a laid back, non pretentious atmosphere to learn how to ride better, jump, go to shows, learn some dressage or just do some groundwork, look no further!

Heather is a rare commodity in the world of professional training. She combines passion with compassion, remains professional but is fun-loving by nature and she will challenge you and your horse to form a partnership so that you can ultimately succeed as you define it. Heather never shorts you on information that will benefit you, doesn't play games and maintains a team-oriented environment in her barn. I thought I wanted to focus on jumping but she taught me right away to respect and enjoy all aspects of equitation with the flatwork and applicable dressage being equally enjoyable and significant. Heather is professional, kind, honest and fair. Hey, and you don't even have to take out a 3rd mortgage on your house (That is if you're lucky enough to own one!) in order to participate. Get in the best shape of your life, physically and mentally and enjoy every minute. Don't think of the reasons why not; that will keep you in no man's land indefinitely. Now is the time for YOU!
