I had a terrible experience with this guy. He took prepayment for a job and then we could never get ahold of him to schedule time to complete the work. When we finally reached him, he made several appointments that he simply failed to show up to and never even bothered to call us to let us know he would not be coming. I am now in the process of filing a claim for payment as he us refusing to return the funds you took for a job he never performed. This man is less than professional and his honesty is in question.

I would like to say that I had a good experience overall but I can't. I paid for 8 hours in March 2014 and had one small task completed. I had specific tasks that needed to be done in a certain time frame which he assured me would be done. He walked through the inside of my house and around the outside and came up with a list of things that needed to be repaired or replaced. Months went by before any other tasks were started. He sometimes didn't show up when he said he would, never stayed for the length of time he said he would and was often trying to get more money. The quality of the work he performed was poor. I ended up paying for supplies I never received and, in good faith, gave him additional money that he would complete the tasks. I showed his work to another contractor and was told to let him go based on the information I gave plus the photos I forwarded. I contacted Mr. Garcia about refunding some of the money and received no response. I went through Angie's List which is where I originally found him. They also received no response. In good conscience, I could not recommend this man to anyone in need of handyman services. I had to pay someone else to tear down and redo the work that he did.

I am afraid that my experience with Mr. Garcia was not at all satisfactory. On March 20, 2014 I purchased a “Discount Package, Item# big deal , Discounted Services Cost: Option 5 Hours” for $275.00” from Mr Joe Garcia, AKA Dunrite Handyman Services located at 965 NW 28th Street, Delray Beach, FL 33445. This package is supposed to prepay for five hours of labor at a small discount from his normal charge. On the same day I asked Mr. Garcia to install a screen door on my condo in Lake Worth, FL and he agreed to accept the task. He stopped by the condo several days later and left after a few minutes at the condo because he wasn’t feeling well. Since that time I have been unable to reach Mr. Garcia by telephone, emails, texts, or certified mail. He never returned to the condo and I have requested by every means possible short of court action to return my $275.00 because he did not do any work for me.
