First of all everything Gwendolyn Park has said about Ray heid is a lie he only volunteered there plus he was not even in town when Gwendolyn Park said he sprayed Sparky. At no time did he ever spray any dogs much less a dog that just had surgery And all the other things she made up about him. Gwendolyn Park sexually harassed Ray Heid and when he turned her down she went crazy and started all kinds of trouble. Gwendolyn was the one yelling and screaming at everyone and that's why she's no longer living there. Now about Southern and Frank Sollars they are amazing people I consider them my Mom and Dad my children call them Grandma and Grandpa they have been family to us since 2007 and we all love them very much. As for the kennel and the dog's the kennel is not in bad shape they are constantly making improvements when you own a kennel or a home there will always be improvements to be made the dogs are very well taken care of Southern cooks for the dog's every day and makes sure they get very healthy meals. The dogs get plenty of attention and are very loving. I've been around Southern and Frank since 2007 and never once have I seen any neglect of any of the dogs. The water bowls are dumped and cleaned every day they wash the dogs food bowls by hand then they are cleaned a second time in the dishwasher to make sure they are sanitized all the dogs are family to Southern and Frank. They have the veterinarian come out to the kennel several times a year to make sure they have their shots and to make sure they are healthy. I definitely would recommend this kennel if you would like a happy healthy puppy

When I read some of the comments on this place, I was concerned. For that reason, I approached the kennel with eyes wide open. What did I see? Older kennels that probably need some renovating. What else did I see? Lots of happy, active, playful dogs that are clearly loved and adored. I've had the opportunity to see eyes light up from people who have gone to pick up their new puppies, as well as the joy of children and adults alike when their FREE donated Airedale pup is placed in their arms to be trained as service animals. If anyone is interested in an Airedale, I would suggest that they make their own decisions and see for themselves. Don't take my word about the good, but don't take the word of others who speak the bad. I followed up on the bad reports and reviewed the documents MYSELF and I can honestly say that I would have no problem getting another puppy, or even several more puppies, from Southern ROC Airedales. Do your own research and you decide.

If there was a triple ZERO, she would get one. Some people never learn a lesson. The conditions in Animal Legal Defense Fund video were the same this summer 2020. It’s a shame she’s allowed to run a kennel when she and her husband are in their seventies and in poor heath. The help they hire doesn’t care about the animals, in fact one, Ray Heid ( her neighbor) was fired for spraying “Sparky” in the face with water while wearing a cone the day he returned from the vet. Southern herself called the sheriff on him. Ray Heid has a warrant in Florida for Paternity and was arrested in 2016 for slapping his wife around. Sadly, the other helper Alex, a convicted felon, is still not cleaning the water tubs which he was cleaning at the time this video was taken, and dogs are left with green algae in their water bowls. Sometimes up to three days. * I have lots of pics. When I advised Southern and Frank that this was unacceptable and immediately quit, Southern posted, publicly, mean untruths about me on a public FB board with the intent of preventing me of finding other work or housing. Ultimately, I left because of verbal abuse toward me, and I cried because I realized nothing will ever change out there no matter how hard one tries. They yell and scream all the time, and the only way I knew of standing up for the dogs and one underweight 1.5 year old horse meant leaving. Immediately. If someone would contact me, I will share documented evidence from April 30, 2020 - August 6, 2020. Southern and Frank really need to retire. They can’t run or manage a kennel with fourteen Airedales to which she wants to add two more. I lived outside in my trailer in the middle of that kennel, and I just couldn’t take it anymore. When I got there the place was over run with foxtails, no wonder Frank lost his own Airedale named “Alice.”

I have to strongly agree with the other review here. Southern is delusional and one minute she will promise you one thing and then next she will turn it around on you making it like your request is ridiculous. We had bought 2 beautiful Airedale’s from her that we fell in love with and unfortunately, the male at 6 passed from prostate cancer. When we had reached out to southern to tell her what happened, she had immediately offered us a free puppy when she had one available, which really cheered me up. When we did notice she had some litters on the way, I had messaged her just to see if one was available. I was responded with a nasty message saying she can’t be just handing free puppies out and she needs to make a living ???? Bipolar is a high possibility with this hag. Don’t deal with her, just go somewhere else. You will regret it if you do. Our female is now developing lumps on her stomach, so I guess her dogs are not as healthy as she advertises. Hope this reached enough people.

I was friends with Southern Sollars for a few years. Trust me, she’s in the business to sell Airedales. She’s abusive in nature, and a friend to her is worth less than a sale of a dog. All the secrets I hold. All of them. There are other breeders out there to choose from. Run away from this one.

Southern Roc is a puppy mill that is being investigated & Southern Sollars is delusional at best. She will tell you one thing then turn around & say the opposite. Many dogs that have come from her kennel have had hip dysplasia, stomach cancer & more. One man got a dog from her that passed at 5 years old. He went back & got another one from different parents & it died at 2. Both from stomach cancer. What are the odds? A service dog she gave to veteran Karl Hofle had double hip dysplasia & when the news found out they raised money for the surgery. It was either the $10,000 surgery or put him down because he was in so much pain. I could go on & on but I'll stop here. Please don't advertise her kennel on here anymore. There is proof to back up these stories & even worse but I can't divulge that information. Look up Karl Hofle. Then look up her name & look for an article by KRQE & you will see an undercover video of her kennels & then an interview with her
