Our piano hadn't been tuned in over 10 yrs. I called The Best Pianoman after I read few reviews. Istvan had to come to our home twice, because it had been such a long time since the piano had last been tuned. He is very nice, very professional & honest. We are very impressed with him, and will call him again. I already recommended him to two people.

I've been dealing with various piano tuners for over 30 years and I have seen all types of tuners, from the extremely non qualified to real pros. Istvan Mihok was truly among the best and most ethical I've ever met. Not only he does a superb job of bringing your piano to its optimum playing condition, he also takes the time to go over lots of additional detail and provides endless useful tips to care for and protect your fine instrument. Being a new comer to the Atlanta area, I was beyond impressed! Let me also add that he provided me with the most reasonable quote among all those I contacted, and despite spending more time on my tuning project than he planned, he still stuck to his original quote and didn't seize the opportunity to jack up his fee, as many others before him did. Honest, highly skilled . Istvan is good at what he does and most of all, honest! I really needed to find a piano tuner for my old grand, which is a hard piano to tune, which had not been tuned in a while. Needless to say my piano tuner of about 20 yrs.left me with no word. :( Needing to move on was challenging, but Istvan came, was personable, honest and really did what needed to be done. I would highly recommend this gentleman.

Istvan has been tuning my pianos (I have 2) for about 10 years. He is very knowledgeable about pianos (he also fixes them), very professional and honest, and overall, nice guy. I know he does a lot of the piano tuning for schools and churches also. He tunes both of my pianos in about an hour (maybe a little over an hour); he comes every year to tune them (and they stay in tune, for the most part). I highly recommend him. And I agree with everything the previous reviewer said.
