"That's a fancy bit of lawyering, Mr. Linnenbank." That is a quote from the judge in response to a plea bargain he reached with the ADA on my behalf.
This is the best feedback for Wes Linnenbank, and it came from the judge in my case! Of course, I am extremely pleased with the outcome...2 of 3 charges dropped in exchange for a tougher fine on the third.
This enabled me to avoid probation and a record which would've prevented me from living out of state and receiving a job offer. Had Wes not gone to the ADA a second time and reached the agreement, my life would've been drastically changed for the worse.
