Joel of English Stone built our boulder retaining wall. We couldn't be more happier. He did a great job, great price & finished in a day. Hard worker & I would highly recommend him!

Joel and his amazing crew just finished our patio/driveway. Absolutely fabulous! They started the project on time (even though i was certain it would be delayed due to all the bad weather we've been having), and completed the entire job in just 4 days! Joel and his crew came out to redo our patio and walk way in the backyard and we are thrilled with the entire experience! He answered the phone every time I called (not always the case with landscapers), came out right away for an assessment and even managed to squeeze us in months before he initially thought he could get to the project. There were no hidden costs or any surprises in the project. He was able to match existing stones perfectly and now our backyard is the oasis that we always wanted! We have spent many summer nights sitting on the patio and we are looking forward to showing it off to all our friends! I would highly recommend Joel and his team at English Stone and definitely would use them again!

Joel and the crew from English Stone were incredible to work with. From the initial consultation through the completion of the job everything went as planned. The way Joel helped guide our vision for our front walk and steps, made it feel like he was working with us, not for us. The attention to detail in the work was great, and we really got the feeling that not only are they great at what they do, but they love doing it. I can't recommend them enough. We are looking forward to working with them again this summer!

I have only good things to say about English Stone as a company, as people and about the quality of their work. Joel was very professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. He came out the beginning of April of the year we wanted our patio installed to discuss my design ideas for our patio and give us a quote. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Joel’s knowledge of design and masonry helped to tweak the design for function and beauty. We scheduled to have them to come out in mid-July of that summer. (They are an in-demand company, so if you want them to come out earlier in the summer, start thinking about your project in January and book early!) That spring was a particularly rainy spring and early summer, so as the summer progressed, I thought there was no way they would start my project on the Monday morning we had scheduled back in April. But to my amazement, they were at my house on the exact day they were scheduled to come (I don’t know how they pulled that off!) They estimated our project would take 2-3 days. By the end of 2 days, they were finished. They two main men who worked on our project were very skilled and worked HARD! My husband and I were so pleased with how everything turned out and English Stone is one of the best companies we have ever hired to do work for our house. After three years, this past summer they came to fix a stone that had a corner crack at not charge (I was not expecting that!). Love this company!

From start to completion, this is a "top notch" company to work with. The patio they built is gorgeous. The employees were ALWAYS respectful and knowledgeable. The finished deck is so nice that my townhouse association came and asked who did it and said it is the nicest looking patio in our development.I would highly recommend English Stone and Joel to anyone looking for any type of Stone work. They go the extra mile to always be sure the work is impeccable and we always are on the same page. The cleanup was always done each day too. FANTASTIC JOB !!!!
