Morrissey & Associates has help our company achieve the high level of creativity and excellence we needed. They were on time and to our surprise a little under budget. Robert Morrissey is very creative; he sees things is a way that most of us don't. Robert Morrissey contacted me in 2013 asking if I had any projects for him to work on: He said he couldn't meet his bills. His story was a sad one - when the bubble burst his business took a hit. Now he couldn't meet his bills. I didn't really NEED any work, but I felt bad for his situation - he was the sole income for his family. I hired him to create covers my 3 of the 4 books in my series, thinking updated covers would be nice. At first Morrissey contacted me often for information about the cover. Then months passed with no contact. When I reached out to him, he asked me many of the same questions I had already answered. This happened over and over. I had to give the same information several times. 2 YEARS later I finally get my covers. When I looked closer at the work, I realized that Morrissey had failed to use the stylized font I had paid to have created for my series. We talked about the importance of having the same font for the entire series many times. I had sent him the file with the font. Morrissey has refused to complete the other projects I paid him for (see other reviews) so I have not brought this to his attention. I have contacted the BBB and complained (his company is Big Red Nose) but I thought I should warn others here as well. Do not give Morrissey money in advance. You may never get the work completed and when you do it may be substandard.
