I would Highly recommend Joe and his crew. I'd say the previous reviews are out of their minds.
We had a pool installed this season as well as our two neighbors. All 3 amazing and not a single issue.
I came across these 2 reviews and I was curious so I reached out to Joe to make him aware of these. The one labeled previous customer he told me all about. Josh Ryan, who he had to file charges against. Dug up his own pool as he wanted to add an Additional return line. Apparently he banged his pool wall and caused it to push in. Joe went out of his way to fix what Josh had damaged and Josh refused for pay for the work completed. The client has been reaching out to potential clients and bad mouthing joe over the damage that he had done himself. Joe told him he would no longer do work for him until he paid.
And he told me the other client in regards to the lights. The client admitted the worked at first but whomever wired them did so in incorrectly and blew them. Lights do not just all out of the box not work. All she the would have to do was contact the manufacture as joe had told them to do. As it was not a builder error. The pool turned out fantastic he said. As for being blocked, joe said that's not the case. Claiming you have had a bad experience because your electrician blew your lights does not mean your experience was bad from a build stand point. Joe doesn't like to respond to negative BS, but I will on his behalf. He is too nice of a guy and a fantastic pool builder to deal with crazy people.
A Previous Customer
I would absolutely NOT recommend Joes Pools to anybody, not even to my inlaws. Joes Pools is all FAKE NEWS. I can say with certainty I have never in my life contracted with a business that was as unprofessional as this company. I foolishly thought it was better to go with a local, family business. Huge mistake on my part. The quality of services was horrible. Joes Plumbing crew would show up without tools to do the job, without knowing what they needed to do, and would leave and not fix anything, instead they would make more issues and more leaks. Joes master plumber caused problems and could not fix them. Sign up for one of Joes pools if you want him to take your money then disappear and not call you back, not text you, not email you and disappear for several months at a time. When he does show up he makes promises that do not come true. Joe does NOT complete projects, he starts them to collect money but then walks away because they simply DO NOT know how to properly install pools. What a sad way to run a business. Joe knowingly hides and covers up leaks, issues, and other installation caused problems by trying to quickly backfill these problems into the ground. This is a completely dishonest tactic and for these reasons, I would NOT advise getting a pool from Joes Pools. If I could give a negative rating, then I would. He does NOT deserve a 1 star. Joe has caused our family complete aggravation and we are completely unhappy with his quality of service and installation. Please, I'm BEGGING you RUN in the other direction folks.

If I could give it a ZERO rating, I would! I DO NOT recommend this company even if they paid me! They installed a 8ft deep pool for my father & promised LED lights for an additional charge. We paid everything in full including the LED lights. Long story short they don't work & is a HUGE safety hazard. I hired 3 electricians to see if they can fix them & all 3 electricians agreed that it was Joe's Pools fault. I tried connecting them through phone, email, Facebook, What'sApp, and even mail! I tried contacting the owner as well. I have yet had anyone reply to me or at little advise me for any help. It's been over a year and a half since I continuously tried contacting them. I tried everything & I was blocked!!!!! They are a SCAM, they will RIPE YOU OFF, and treat you like SCUM. DO NOT HIRE JOE'S POOL IN WEEDSPORT NEW YORK. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! I WILL BE REVIEWING THEM EVERYWHERE TO HELP STOP THIS HURTFUL CRIME & BRING AWARENESS TO ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!
