We have a three year old pitbull that was slightly dog aggressive and would always pull when walking on a leash. We researched multiple trainers in the area to have these problems corrected. We decided to have iCare k9 train us and our dog with in home training, as we were not sure how our dog would do around other dogs. We were extremely impressed on the first training session!!! Morris and Annmarie were very professional and knowledgeable. Morris explains the process and the reasoning behind the training. This training is as much for you the owner as it is for the dog, Morris is very patient and thorough throughout the entire process!!! We would recommend iCare K9 to anyone seeking training!!! Our dog has made a 180 change for the better. All of our concerns were addressed and our expectations were exceeded. We are now planning to adopt another dog to our family soon, and will continue training with iCare k9 in the future!!! Thank you Morris and AnnMarie

My wife and I would like to offer our sincerest THANKS to the iCare K9 folks, and specifically Morris and Annemarie for all of their help over the last few months. We truly were at our wits end after recently rescuing an American Pit Bull puppy, and experiencing the new dynamic of 3 pit bulls in one house. Both my wife and I are not exactly inexperienced with pit bulls, but the addition of this new puppy clearly presented a situation that we were not prepared for, and an incident that shortly followed caused us to reach out for help. We were truly at a low point, and desperate for some direction. After interviewing several trainers, we ended up meeting with Morris and Annemarie. From the first minute, they put our minds at ease. Extremely professional, and equally as compassionate to our situation. The ensuing weeks and months proved to be even more encouraging and rewarding for both of us, as we saw the incredible discipline that Morris brought to the situation, the lessons that we learned along the way about dogs in general, and specifically pit bulls. We now have a lasting friendship with Morris and Annemarie, but more importantly we have ‘control’ of our situation. We have pit bulls that know their role, and their ‘jobs’, and most importantly their place in the ‘pecking order’. We now have an overwhelming comfort level in owning and enjoying these dogs, their loyalty, their safety, their adoring and affectionate nature, and we owe much of tha

Really what Morris had me doing with her goes against all the advice from Belgian experts out there... more in keeping with previous training techniques we had used...but the Belgian people had me psyched out and I was afraid to leash correct at all. SOME of them didn't even want me giving verbal corrections... it was CRAZY and NOT WORKING!!! She really is a different dog. I feel like every week in class we make bigger breakthroughs. I have been SO pleased with the progress I am seeing in Bella. I think the biggest key was that you gave me permission to correct her and showed me what a legit correction looked like with her. Before, we had always used leash pops with our dogs, but somehow the same technique didn't seem to work with her and then there was a cacophony from the Belgian world to not leash correct the dogs... mold by using positive and soft approaches only. Ummm... this created much of the problems I was having with her... You have been a life saver!!
