I started taking one lesson per week with Bertie about a year ago. I quickly realized her expertise, and having been a music teacher, I know how difficult it is to find someone who can not only perform the skill, but also to teach it. Bertie has both gifts. I saw how valuable she is, so I changed my priorities, and grabbed the opportunity and put my horse in full training. One year later, I must say I have never enjoyed riding this much before. My current horse, has come so far, and I am thrilled to be able to apply the aids and get the correct dressage movements with ease when I ask. Bertie teaches us with no whips, no screaming, no drama. Must be seen to appreciate. She is effective and dedicated to the sport. The best teacher is one who imparts information and their knowledge willingly, for the benefit of the student to succeed.
