I wish I could give this business less than 1 star. It was a hassle and a problem every day after I gave the initial deposit of $800. I was told that it would be a 2-3 day job because they had to break up my old cracked patio. I should have realized it would be a problem when she told me she would be at my house at 9am to get the check and she did not show up until 6:30 pm. For 6 weeks I was promised that they would start the job and every week I was given an excuse why they could not start. Whether it was her personal family issues or business work she never showed up when she promised. She would give a date and time when she would be there, we would wait all day for her and she would never show, would not call to say she was not coming and would not answer the phone when you called her. This went on for over 6 weeks!!! After the first three weeks she sent a man to break up the concrete, he stayed for a few hours, broke up most of it and then left. Several days went by with no work and I had to call. She then showed up with 2 more workers, and broke up more concrete but left much of it there for "strength" for the new concrete. She then disappeared for several more days. They then came to install the forms but only had old and used wood that was not straight. There is not a single straight edge on my concrete and it was crooked! I had to go out there and fix the measurements with the guys because every side was a different length and it still wasn't even; but it was better than it was initially. Then almost 2 more weeks went by with no work and this was blamed on possible rain. Yet if the job had been completed in the first 2 weeks as promised rain would not have been an issue... She would tell me concrete was on the way, then tell me the concrete was delayed because of protestors, and then tell me she would have to order the concrete. Wait... didn't she just say the concrete was on the way 2 days prior? At this point, I lost my temper and went off. I was tired of her lies and her constant excuses. I called her three times that day to find out why she had not arrived and it wasn't until I threatened to sue her that she called me back... with more excuses. She then promised--again--that the concrete would be delivered the next day-- although there was now going to be a 30-40% chance of rain. I said I want it done so I don't have to deal with you anymore. Luckily for her we were rain free and They installed the concrete and it was a mess! They get concrete all over my new screen door, my windows and window screens. And then told me I would have to get it up myself. Because the forms she used were not tall enough, bowed and old when the concrete was filled in the concrete poured out from the bottom of the forms and the weight pushed out the forms. Also, because it was not laid evenly, the middle of the patio is concave so when it rains it drains toward the center. I did not realize the edge of the concrete was like that until after the first rain because they back filled the edges with dirt so when it rained all that dirt ran off and exposed the edges. Because my yard is sloped I wanted to make sure the smaller pad was higher than the dirt so that it wouldn't fill with mud when it rained. She assured me it would be and surprise... it was not. The first rain the whole patio filled with water and mud and pooled in one corner. There was no drain there by the retaining wall so it just overflowed with water and constantly created a problem with mosquitoes. We had to surround the patio ourselves with a drain just to prevent the flooding. They also built a retaining wall for me which is the only thing that came out alright. But they put stairs on it --which was good idea--but used pavers and only had 1" for the risers so my kids kept tripping on the steps. Did I mention they were also uneven? Almost 4 months later since completion... My concrete patio looks horrible!!! It has turned several different colors of gray, any mud that gets on it stains it. You can't pressure wash because the concrete is so soft it damages it. Did I mention that every time you touch it you are covered in concrete dust? Every time you sweep the top layer of the patio floats in the air? My patio is covered in pits all over, I have had to fill 3 holes that appeared on the patio by the wall after the rain because the concrete disappeared. Anything dropped on the patio leaves a dent. I dropped my keys and it dented it! A whole corner of the patio broke off and we had to repair it!!! If I rub my finger on the concrete I can make a pile of dust. I sent her texts about the shoddy work and she did not respond but my husband called and she answered--assured she would be here today to fix the problems and of course no show-no answering of phone. I am not dealing with this anymore. I am going to sue her for the damage she has done to my patio after charging me $1800 for it --that probably won't last.

My name is Freddie Battle and I reside in Americus Georgia. I know Ms. Anthony from her grandparents who reside here. After church I asked Mr. Anthony was Cynthia still doing construction and he said she was. I got her number, she came to my home, gave me an estimate and I agreed to it. She came the next day with 2 workers, repaired my broken block wall and cleaned up what was left. She brought her own materials, did the work, and I paid her. I would recommend her company to anyone.
