I had a disappointing experience with JJ Nash from VA Plumbing and Heating. He arrived three hours late to our appointment on a particularly cold day. Initially, he had quoted $150 for the repair, but upon his arrival, he abruptly increased the price to $550 without a clear reason. Despite providing him with photos of the issue beforehand, his demeanor was off-putting and impolite. When I questioned the price increase, he claimed that he was the only plumber in the area with the necessary parts, coercing me to accept the higher charge or remain in a cold house. After I refused his services, he became hostile and even threatened to leave my heating system unrepaired for the winter, attempting to damage my property out of spite. This behavior was unacceptable, and I strongly advise against using his services. It's essential to read reviews and know the reputation of service providers to avoid such distressing experiences. I ended up hiring another company to solve the heating issue.
