we purchased the bell clinch 500 universal bottle cage because the bottle was manufactured in Cleveland U.S.A; upc # 35011 88729. I would like to write of a good experience with product but I cannot. The mounting hardware for the bottle contains screws the heads of which accept an allen wrench which is common enough. The problem is the screw head is made of cheap pot metal which strips out after the slightest pressure. The inferior beyond cheap screws render the entire mounting system useless. Screwhead is soft (cheap), the penny you save on the cheap screw renders the product a cheap joke in it's entirety. I am fortunate enough to have a quality bicycle enabling me to mount the bottle to the frame but prefer handlebar; but the dollar store level of bracket screws removes that option. I did not want to use the Q word in the previous sentence. "QUALITY'' is a word that should not be associated with this product in any way except the bottle portion. I feel it would help if the executives who decide manufacturing parameters; to actually use the product so there is not such a disconnect. Our family has owned other Bell products and have always considered Bell a quality item. I am saddened that it has degraded into dollar store "SCHLOCK" as the say in N.Y.C.
