I was traveling on 2 month bike trip and my bike broke down in Lake Havasu. I had it towed to Bone Daddy Desert Thunder for repair. They discovered front piston over heated and burned up. I asked what caused it and they did not know. Ordered a new 97 inch kit and they installed it. Got bike back and had pinging and clattering noise so I took it back about 4-5 times and they could not make it go away?(I am not mechanic so I rely on them for analysis and repair?) They eventually just sent me on my way. BTW - no mention about break in period . I did not make it to hiway 40 out of town, maybe 15 miles ,and bike engine was failing. I took it back to them and they pulled engine apart. Again same issue, burned front piston. Again they did not know why. There fix was to bore out the new 97" instead of giving me new 97" inch that I paid for. They did it mostly at there expense so they knew they failed in the repair. I got bike back, and again pinging and clattering and took it back 4-5 times and they could not make noise go away. They sent me on my way and this time we went over break in period. I went on site for 97" S&S kit and printed out break in procedure and followed it. I made it to California and engine failed again. I took it to shop and they tore down. Again front piston burned due to over heating. Cycle Path repair in Kirkland Wa. did the repair. (BTW -they are very competent and have machine shop). They found piston oiler to front piston took 14 1/2 lbs pressure to squir
