Now commonly known as "Mennonite furniture" or "Amish furniture", it describes quality craftsmanship that frowns on the use of inferior products such as MDF and particle board in place of solid woods such as oak, maple, cherry, walnut, pine and, now, even bamboo. Mobelhaus takes this one step further by selling products actually built in our onsite facility, rather than retailing products sourced in the USA and even China as many supposedly "mennonite or amish furniture" retailers have begun to do.
