1) Parrot Bay Rescue Foundation is organized exclusively for Psittaciformes (Parrot) Rescue. 2) To take in unwanted, neglected or abused parrots and give them a chance to enjoy the rest of their long lives in a happy, caring and loving environment. 3) Provide education to the public about parrots needs including: Diet, Enrichment and Cage sizes and maintenance. 4) They come to us for a reason, they may be unwanted, abandoned, injured, ill or have behavioral problems (such as screaming, plucking and self-mutilation). Not always a glamorous picture, but still living creatures that need experienced, caring hands who can provide health care, proper feeding and a loving touch. 5) We are not Veterinarians and are not qualified to expel medical advice. We always recommend seeing an Avian Veterinarian if there are concerns about a parrots health. 6) We do not advocate the sale of un-weaned baby birds.
