Mad Co Tubing is a small, family-owned, and operated whitewater river tubing outfitter just south of the beautiful historic town of Marshall, NC. We are located 20 minutes north of Asheville and offer adventure tubing on section 7 of the French Broad River for the outdoor enthusiast. At Mad Co Tubing, we believe that outdoor recreation should be an experience for the whole group, whether it be family, friends, or work peers. We offer two different length trips, a 3-mile river adventure that averages around 1 hour and 45 minutes of tubing fun and a 5-mile river trip which typically lasts just over 3 hours. The time spent whitewater tubing on the river is dependent on water levels and the stops you may choose along the way. Both trips end at our outpost and include some small class 1+ rapids with gentle flowing areas in between. The section of the river you float is largely undeveloped and offers stunning natural landscapes, lots of rock features, and a feeling of getting far away from the hustle. You are likely to see wildlife like bald eagles, wood ducks, Canadian geese, cormorants, and blue herons while enjoying the splashy waters and navigating your tube with a kayak paddle around rocks and through rapids.
