Jim started Woodfield Planning Corp. in 1982 as a personal financial planning firm. In 1986 he added residential mortgages to his offerings. In 2011 the mortgage division of the business was sold to Wintrust, a Chicago based financial services firm with over 20 billion in assets. The financial planning division, Woodfield Financial Advisors, Inc., relocated to Deer Park, IL. We are most proud of the long term trusted relationships that we have with our clients and employees. The two original financial planners, Don Monsen and Fred Peaslee are still with the firm 29 years later. Our youngest member, Martin Konsor started as a client. He was referred by his in laws who have been with the firm for over 30 years. We have clients that have been with us for as long as 33 years. Many fall in to the 20 to 25 year range. Why do we have so many loyal individuals and business owners? They tell us it’s because we have always given them honest, solid financial advice. We pay attention to detail and we always look out for their best interest. We know our clients well and focus on delivering good old fashioned personal attention.
