CALSEC is focused on the commercialization of its second generation proprietary systems based on fast-neutron atometry, a nano-femto technology that was developed under DOD auspices in the period 2000-2005 at a cost of over $44 million. The management believes that the global economic and humanitarian impact of CALSEC's nano-femtotechnology in 21st century may be comparable to that of the discovery of X-rays at the turn of 20th century. Its remarkable variety of applications extends to explosive detection, drug and bioagents detection, including anthrax; needle-free biopsy for cancer diagnosis; industrial processing. CALSEC is currently focused on seeking orders for its unique proprietary car bomb detection device, a stealth platform device called TOCS or VBIED TOTAL CHEMSCAN.
