Wilson Cynthia was blessed to travel on several occasions abroad and sing at special events, commemorating the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. She has sung for the late Coretta Scott King and most recently sung for the newly appointed Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. In 2012, Cynthia was a feature soloist on the First Mount Zion Baptist Church CD entitled, “Give God the Glory” performing one of the hits songs “God has been so good to me.” In 2014, Cynthia was selected to open at the 2014 EWG Summit at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and selected for Police Week at the Valor Memorial with her version of the National Anthem. These events were attended by members of Congress, the Chief of police for Washington DC, the secretary of Homeland Security and many other dignitaries.
