Chuck Lahr Bio Chuck has been involved in music in one form or another since grade school, starting out as a youngster by singing in church and school choirs. Teaching himself guitar in his teens, he formed his first band in the mid-1960’s and began writing songs. Over the years he’s formed various bluegrass and country bands performing at state and county fairs, music festivals, and a variety of other venues throughout the Midwest and western states. Chuck performs primarily original songs in the traditional and contemporary bluegrass style along with classic standards, instrumentals, and gospel music.
