Barry R. Bengtson and William L. Clark formed a corporation and purchased the name and existing agency fro Bob Hayes in 1977. The agency is one of the largest in Dallas County and has over a 100 year history in the community. Both Bengtson and Clark were former employees of Allied Insurance Company (now a Nationwide Company) with extensive personal and commercial insurance backgrounds. Since 1977, the agency has grown significantly both through new business, expansion of accounts and agency acquisitions. The agency has provided the property and casualty insurance program for Dallas Country for over 20 years and also has a background of insurance experience with other commercial and non-profit entities.
