Among these are two certified LEED Platinum, Net-Zero public buildings in Maine that create as much energy as they consume, and a Passive House in Vermont that requires no furnace. In 2012, Bensonwood launched a sister company, Unity Homes; an optimized series of pre-designed, Net-Zero ready homes, with the goal of making beautiful, healthy, high-performance homes available to the broadest possible market segment.
