Founded in 1960 in Chesterfield South Carolina, Chesterfield is a fashion conglomerate, with clothing brands such as Chesterfield, Kangol USA, Capital, Apparel Central, Zekko, Celebrity Apparel Group, Pamela Anderson, Max Austin, Rural Life, Peninsula Club, Work Wise, Print-Ons, and Express Mark just to name a few. Chesterfield is also a large private label, design and manufacturing company for retailers such as JCPenney's, Walt Disney World, Wrangler menswear, Blane, AAFES, Haggar, Belks, Federated, Nordstrom's and Dillards department stores. In 2003 Chesterfield was acquired by the investment group, Tomasello Inc, led by David Tomasello. In 2008, Chesterfield Holding Inc. acquired Tomasello Inc. In early 2018, Chesterfield's Chairman, David Tomasello, also reveled that they will be acquiring new trendy lifestyle brands to further their commitment to their younger customers.
