Waterfalls, scenic vistas and hiking abound in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Bridal Veil Lodge B & B, built in 1926, is nestled among the tall firs on the Historic Columbia River Highway. When the highway opened in 1915 dozens of roadhouses sprung up along the road. Bridal Veil Lodge was built as a hotel, restaurant and auto camp with cabins for travelers to stay in. In the heyday of early motor touring, it was a popular stopping point for a hot meal and a good nights sleep. Descendants of the original owner, run the lodge to this day.
