Mountain Top Bed & Breakfast, located 11 miles east of Camp Nelson in Ponderosa, offers a quiet mountain retreat in a beautiful, pine-covered setting for those who enjoy outdoor sports or simply sitting in front of the massive rock fireplace with a good book. From the two available bedrooms each with its own private bath, guests look out on the peaceful mountain countryside. Guests have the use of a large, airy living room with satellite large screen TV, surround sound and a VCR with its collection of movies. After a day of hiking or cross-country skiing, guests return for wine, cheese and crackers served 4-5 PM. In the evening they enjoy hot homemade cookies, coffee, spiced cider or hot chocolate by the fireplace.

We are located in the heart of the Giant Sequoia National Monument. We serve excellent food, have live music in the summer time, and a full Bar. We also have 2 Hotel rooms so you can stay over and enjoy the wonderful mountian experience. Lots of snow in the winter, perfect for X-Country Skiing. Summer is great for fishing, camping and hiking.
