The Quarry Gymnastics Organization has been instructing children in the DuBois area since 1983. Although the gym has gone through many changes, one thing that has never changed throughout the years has been the owner and head coach of the gym, Lisa La Brasca. For this reason, many parents feel as though their children are in a safe environment with a certified instructor. We at the Quarry feel that gymnastics is a sport that everybody can do. Lisa La Brasca started her gymnastic school in the back of her father's warehouse on South Brady Street in DuBois. The gymnastic school lasted there from its initial opening in 1983 to March of 1991.
