Mr. Barrett is a protégé of the legendary Chuck Norris and a Karate Champion. He trained directly under Chuck and is now a 6th degree black belt in his American Martial Arts system. Mr. Barrett started his film career alongside Chuck in The Octagon in 1980, in which he starred and performed stunts. John continued to do many more action movies, as a stuntman, actor, screenplay writter, director and producer. As an actor, some of his most remarkable roles were in 'Shootfighter', `American Kickboxer 1', and `To The Death', the sequel to his own American Kickboxer 1. While Mr. Barrett continues to teach martial arts at his school in Calif., he is also completing a major motion picture `Kids Class' (working tittle) which is in the final filming stage.
