Son of A Gun is a training company that focuses on family firearms safety. Our goal is help you talk to your kids about firearms and make sure they know how to be safe around them. This is not only important for families with firearms but also for families without them. Unfortunately, we can't be with our kids every minute of everyday and everywhere they go. If your child is out without you it's important that they know what to do if they encounter a firearm out in the wild. This is something that is very very important to me. I have children of my own and when my son was 5 he told me he knew where a shotgun was at a house he spent a lot of time at. He later told me he knew where the shells were too and that it was not locked up. This absolutely terrified me. I immediately started running safety drills and exercises with all my kids. I don't have access to the house where this gun is at and cannot keep my kids from going there so I needed to take precautions.
