OARS (outdoor Allegheny River Services) a locally owned canoe/kayak rental business established in 2008. We are located near the confluence of French Creek and the Allegheny River in Franklin, Pa. OARS has 60+ rental boats available so we can accommodate both large and small groups. Our customers can choose from one of our 10 basic trips or we can customize a trip to meet your schedule/needs. We also offer several overnight trips, camping is available on one of the many islands or along the shore and we can help with putting a trip together to suit your groups specific needs. Our staff is second to none, we promote a fun, laid back atmosphere, while at the same time we strive to make your trip both hassle and stress free.
