About American Angels How did American Angels come about? Well being a mother of 5 amazing children, I soon realized that there was not a pageant system out there that fit all 3 of my girls personalities. My oldest daughter loves competeing in pageants, but as a trained model she quickly realized that that pageants and modeling were worlds apart, even down to the walk, and struggled to compete with the trained pageant girls. We have also come to realize that trained pageant girls are almost like cookie cutters, they are have the same look, dress, and personality.
