Kaizen offers classes for students separated by age and skill. Class schedule is flexible, rates are all inclusive and never increase. Free fitness center for parents. No tournaments. No black belt clubs. No memorizing forms or fancy poses that hold no value in actual self defense. Wildcats (ages 5-9): High energy, focused-yet-fun classes. Kids get to run, jump, kick, punch, yell, and roll around in each class to expel their energy, and learn focus, discipline, respect, and self-control. Youth & Teens (ages 10-15): Similar to my Wildcats, youth students additionally develop functional martial arts skills and muscle memory based upon instinct and confidence. They learn to adapt; improvise; and overcome. Adult CQC - Close Quarters Combat (ages 16+): Adult training at Kaizen is entirely different than youth classes. Adults do not utilize a ranking system with belts or titles. Here, we train as equals. If you need a black belt to feel good about yourself, then Kaizen is not the right studio for you. Here; we train as we fight and fight as we train. Contact is necessary, sparring is a must. You will be tested physically and emotionally. You will be hit; kicked, chocked, thrown, pushed, and knocked down on a regular basis. I’ve never known a strong person with an easy past… and I will not make your training easy here. The harder you train; the harder you become. I offer a free trial session for everyone as well as a two week trial to see how it fits your schedule and if interest remains.
