Training in aikido can and does change human beings, not only phisicley and mentaly, but it can change our spirit. By unifying body mind and spirit, we become truly brave wise and compastionate. Aikido is known as "The Art of Peace" Its founder Morihei Ueshiba, In the later years of his life refined the leathal techniques he had learned throughout his life: from many schools of martial arts in Japan: into less than leathal tecniques. O' sensei as the founder is known, bielieved that through vigerous training in these tecniques people would come to realise: over time, that war and fighting is a distructive force that can and will destroy our world: and through this realization people would become more kind and compashionate in everything they do. I chose to follow this original vision.
