Camp Scotty is located in Pelham AL just off Pelham Pkwy (Hwy 31) just south of Hoover AL. The entire building was constructed with providing dogs a state of the art atmosphere when it comes dog boarding, dog daycare services, dog grooming, DIY Baths (self wash enclosed tubs) with heated dryers, and full service dog training from pre-puppy training to advanced behavioral classes for dogs. Our staff and ownership have the experience necessary to deal with all types, sizes and shapes of dogs.
Camp Scotty’s dog boarding and daycare services offer over 40 large 5×9 Foot suites that will accomodate multiple dogs from the same household if needed or alone if preferred. Each of the dogs are walked and allow to play 6 or more times per day in either our indoor play area or outside in a huge 5,700 square foot yard that is completely fenced and secure. It is divided into two areas for large and small dogs, and a staff member is present at all times. We have a liberal, yet structured policy of allowing the dogs to hang out with their friends while they’re on vacation with us.

When my friends Troy and Julie Bland told me they were buying a pet cremation business, I first thought how odd that two animal lovers would want to work in this line of business, but after thinking it over and learning more about the process, it occurred to me that pet lovers are the only people you should trust with this painful and delicate task and I could think of no other couple who would be more qualified to handle this process than the Blands.
In October of 2011 they purchased the already established family business, Pets at Peace from Vickie Bayles. Troy and Julie have since carried on the family tradition with a similar mission:
