Port City Java has been waking up Wilmington, NC since 1995. Nestled in the heart of historic downtown, our first café quickly became a hub for coffee lovers in the community. Our admittedly simple goals were to bring great, fresh-roasted coffee to our neighbors with the help of a charming but ever mischievous 15-kilo Ambex roaster. Port City Java has evolved and grown to operate over 30 cafes as well as its own bakery, roastery and distribution center since then. Our menu offers a diverse selection to satisfy all of your sweet and savory urges. Beverages include a rotating selection of remarkable coffee, carefully crafted espresso drinks, smoothies made with real fruit, milkshakes made with rich ice cream and award winning teas among other items. We bake fresh daily and our breakfast sandwiches and wraps are made on site and are served hot all day. Our PCJ EATs lunch sandwiches and wraps are made fresh daily and available in our grab and go case for a quick and easy solution to the question of “What’s for lunch?”: We're grateful for the opportunity to serve an outstanding menu that is approachable, accessible and steeped in kindness. Park 51 Cafe is a great experience for breakfast and lunch. The cuisine is southern with a Greek touch, if that doesn't give anything away about the owner Fred Kanos. Originally opened in 1988 by Mr. Sam Keretsis and his wife Helen, was sold to Effie Kanos and her son Fred a year later. Together they transformed the Cafe to what it is today. A great place for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Most customers think of our restaurant as a home away from home. We start breakfast at 6:00am Mon-Fri, 7:00am on Saturday and 8:00am on Sunday. During the week breakfast is served till 11:30am and the weekends till closing, while lunch starts at 11:00am. Dinner is served Monday through Friday till 9:00 pm. On Saturday we call it a day at 3:00pm and at 2:00pm on Sunday.
