Diane MacDonald, M.D., F.A.C.P., director of the medical oncology program at MidMichigan Gratiot Cancer Center, specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of blood diseases and cancer. She is on the active medical staff at Gratiot Medical Center and currently sees patients in Alma, Carson City and St. Johns. Dr. MacDonald earned her medical degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, in East Lansing, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology. She is board certified in hematology and medical oncology.

For the convenience of our patients, CCMC has on-site testing and diagnostic capability that is not normally found within a small community practice. In addition to our core family medical services including pediatric specialties, CCMC has wellness and nutrition specialists, and a comprehensive physical therapy suite. We offer a growing group of psychologists that includes a drug and alcohol addiction specialist and a physician certified to prescribe Suboxone. CCMC now has extended hours for acute illnesses only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.
