Amy Blumberg, LCSW, BCD is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. She received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. After working as a social worker and raising three children, she completed a four year post-graduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in NYC and two year training from the Center for the Study of Anorexia & Bulimia in NYC where she was on the senior staff of both institutes. She graduated from NY Society of Ericksonian Psychotherapy. She is also trained in EMDR which is a method of treatment effective in treating sufferers of trauma and other conditions.
