Janell has always had passion for assisting people in reaching their goals and she pours her heart and soul into addressing her client's needs. Janell earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland and she earned a Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Prior to beginning her career in therapy, Janell worked in employee assistance counseling, with at-risk adolescents in educational and group home settings providing individual and group therapy and with youths in therapeutic foster care ensuring that they had safe and stable homes.
