In 2002, Lucas started Lucas Lagoons Inc. as a company specializing in exterior design as well as luxury lagoons. Every project has been designed and built by Lucas. The company has been successful from the outset. The quality of the work coupled with the brilliance of each design has created an outstanding reputation. Lucas Lagoons has won many awards from both the Florida Swimming Pool Association Design Competition and International Awards for Excellence from the Assoc. of Pool and Spa Professionals. Lucas Lagoons have been featured on HGTV and in Sarasota Magazine, SRQ, HouseTrends, Home and Design, Home and Garden, and the Sarasota Herald Tribune. His projects have been featured on the cover of Aqua Magazine twice. Lucas is the winner of a Sarasota County Beautification Award.
