The history of First Presbyterian Church of Baldwin Park goes back over 60 years. From its beginnings in a lodge hall to its current prominent location, the church building stands at the corner as a continuing witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ, the love of God for all people, and the continuing concern for human and civil rights. The first pastor, Rev. Keith Orr, organized this congregation in 1949. Through the years, there have been a series of pastors and workers, who, in their own way, remained faithful to the vision of those who were the first constituency of this church. The current stated supply pastor Rev. Angel de Rosas, arrived in 2009, and is working closely with the session to establish new ministries to better serve the community.
