I enjoy working with all kinds of people in short-term (8-10 sessions) or long-term counseling. Over the past 10 years of my counseling experience I have developed specialties in addition to working with common counseling issues like anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. What makes me unique is my passion and experience for working with specialized issues such as Abuse, Trauma, and Psychosomatic Disorders (including Chronic Pain) that many therapists do not specialize in treating. Another unique aspect is my use of specialized techniques in addition to traditional talk therapy: EMDR and Non-touch Bodywork. Also, I integrate Christian principles, scripture, and prayer into sessions as much or as little as people want, for a more comprehensive approach.
